Just a note to everyone – we won’t be open Good Friday so unless you want to come down and try to look into a dark store from outside (which is kind of creepy) you will have to wait until Saturday to get your bike fix!
We would humbly recommend that you use the day to locate your bike(s), clean them up, and maybe even take them on the road to ride them! If you are feeling brave, and don’t mind getting soaked and dirty, take them on the trails!
If your bike(s) isn’t ready to go, bring it down to the shop when you have time and we will get it back to you. We NEVER have a wait time measured in weeks for basic bike service!
We are open regular hours Saturday, Sunday, and until the next holiday!

December 26th, 2008 — Chris, store news
We started this sale on the 15th of December, and to say that this has been our biggest and best sale ever is no understatement. Considering this, we thought today would be somewhat slow, since a lot of individuals took advantage of our amazing prices already. Well, when we took stock of the lineup outside of our door at noon we knew today would be busy.
We have sold so much of our stock that I thought it would be a good idea to post what we have left and what we are expecting as well:
Nordic boots are getting low, both classic and skate are becoming hard to find depending on what size you are.
Nordic entry level skis are running low in certain sizes, but mid range and high end skis have somewhat better availability.
Nordic bindings are getting low, but we have more on the way to fill up our missing holes of models and applications.
Snowboards are at approximately 40% – we have a few holes in certain sizes but overall still OK.
Snowboard bindings are at about the same, missing some sizes but still OK.
Snowboard boots are getting low, but if you are lucky we probably have your size in a few models available.
Bikes are definitely low, but we still have some great models in good size ranges. We have more bikes that we will be bringing in and putting on sale to offer a bigger selection for our customers.
Clothing is definitely low (as we only brought out clothing from the warehouse that was unaffected by the fire next door). However, we do have NEW Sessions clothing coming in, that will be on sale for 30-50% off. This is due to arrive in January.
We are open until 6pm today, only a few hours left but don’t worry if you can’t make it out today – our sale runs until January 4th.

So, the BIG day is only a few away and there is still time left to take advantage of our biggest sale ever. This sale runs until January 4th, but the selection is already starting to dwindle. The good news is that everything left in stock is on for a killer price!
We recently fire priced all of our wax for those nordic lovers, so it is all 30% off for perfectly fine wax that had its packaging exposed to some smoke. Still good to go to get your skiing fix taken care of. At this price, you should stock up while you can.

Well, we came close on Wednesday and even closer on Tuesday to beating the single sales record we set on Monday with the start of our Fire Sale. Well, tonight (or is it this morning?) we can announce that Friday was our biggest day ever! We even topped Monday!
Thanks to all who made it happen, and enjoy your bikes, snowboard gear, and nordic gear.
We still have a few days before the BIG DAY. Let’s set some more records.

No time for more blog posts…too busy…too tired…if you need gear at stupid prices we are starting to get thin on nordic boots and some bikes.
Earlier I posted that Monday was a record Monday. Well, this week is going to be a record week – customers are leaving happy and somewhat astonished at the money they are saving.
I think many will enjoy what is under the tree this season.
Note: no service work is being done until after Christmas, so keep that in mind if you are looking to get any service work done. Considering the weather, probably not…

Well, I guess we had a good indicator today would be busy when we were already selling bikes and snowboards even before we opened at noon!
We are on pace to have a record day today, as snowboards and bikes are moving out the door insanely fast!
As an update to the store renovations – we have been blown away by all of our support from not only our reps, manufacturers (and of course customers), but also the tradespeople who have been AWESOME getting us up and running in a week!
We were pleased to hear that much of our new display walls are arriving days early, and we expect to be nearly completely-back up (and even improved) by the week’s end.
Wow, things are rolling and the store is filling back up with customers. So much for a lunch break.
December 13th, 2008 — Chris, site news, store news
So, as of today we have received all of our bikes back and they are ready to move. We’ve never seen these prices before, and hopefully won’t see them again!
We have put some of the examples of fire sale pricing up on our site (Link to Fire Sale) and hope this gives you an idea as to what kind of crazy savings you can get on bikes and snowboards.
These savings are on all product that was in the store at the time of the fire next door, so this means we have adult bikes starting at $199.99, and snowboards (name brand ones) starting at $99.99! Stupid deals, this product won’t last long!
We have not received our nordic skis, boots, bindings, or snowboard boots or bindings yet, but we expect to see that stuff arriving on Monday. Time will tell, but by mid week we hope to be running on all 12 cylinders!
December 12th, 2008 — Chris, store news
It is actually a bit misleading, since there wasn’t any fire in our store (so it is more like a smoke sake), but because of the fire we are having a sale…so, kind of close enough? Anyway, we have been getting more and more product in over the past few days, bikes a plenty have arrived and we are getting them good to go for our sale which starts Monday. All bikes still come with our lifetime service, which serves as a testament to the condition of the bikes – they really look great!
Snowboards are in and good to go, and still come with our $115 of service (3 wax/sharpens and a tune in the first year). Hopefully we receive our bindings and boots tomorrow, but they may not arrive until Monday. Let’s hope!
Nordic skis, bindings, and boots are in the same scenario – they may arrive on Saturday and give us time to get them good to go and priced or insanity may ensue on Monday as we attempt to get everything good to go in time!
Prices are going to be put up in (either in full or partially) on Saturday, so stay tuned for some stupid prices, it should be great times!
December 9th, 2008 — Chris, store news
As the week began this week we have reopened in a limited capacity allowing customers to pick up their equipment as it is completed and to look at what we have put out that was off site when the fire occured next door.
We know at the moment we don’t have a lot in the store, and the new slatwall and other goodies won’t be installed until a week before Christmas but don’t fret. We’ll make it back to you all, just stay tuned to our website for more information as to what we are doing for the remainder of the month of December. It should be worth the wait!
The shop is starting to fill up with some product as it arrives from our suppliers to restock what we know isn’t coming back. Soon enough we will be back up to full operation and even better than before.
